Networking is key when referring you the best of the best
As a real estate agent and active community member, I find it essential to network with the area's hard working professionals. It enables me to find contractors and various services that you may need. I certainly don't refer someone just because they are in one of my groups. I meet with them individually to see if we share the same client care vision and ask for referrals from their former clients before passing their name onto you. Many of them I use myself first. These are some of the groups where I meet such professionals.
1. United Way of Gloucester County - Business Circle
United Way of Gloucester County has a vision that has my full support:
"United Way of Gloucester County was established in 1957. Our mission is to be the leader in building community capacity to foster individual well being."
If you want to find out how you can join or help visit their website at http://uwgcnj.org/.
2. Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce
Chambers are great groups to belong to for local business support. Many are mom and pop businesses are looking for connections to the community. Both fun and educational meetings fulfill this need.
"We are more than a networking group, we are the #1 business resource for finding the very best of South Jersey. We aim to further the education of our business community, support our valued members, and expand our reach!"
This business chamber is close to my heart (and home). Many local businesses have joined just to connect with the monthly Coffee Clatches. A different business sponsors it each month and it often leads to extra coffee for me at a later date with professionals I think may help you with your moving goals.
"Founded in 1962, the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce provides Networking opportunities for civic leaders and business professionals."
And there are other opportunities I take part in that aren't necessarily "groups", but planned gatherings. I meet often with real estate agents at various events because it's also important to build strong relationships with other agents that may one day be on the other side of the sale.
